Jakhoo (Jakhu) Temple, Shimla, Himachel Pradesh, India

On Christmas day, we traveled to the highest point in Shimla. Located here is a temple dedicated to the Hindu deity, Hanuman. The Jakhoo Temple is really amazing; monkeys are everywhere and you can buy food to feed them (we watched people feed them but did not do so ourselves). There is a small cafe located at the temple and the food was delicious. Dylan and I had a fun time watching the baby monkeys interact with the mama monkeys. Also, while on Mall Road in Shimla, you can see the Hanuman statue, since it is located at such a high point in the city (see my photo).
